General Purpose of Job:

The Training and Standards Manager will assist in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of our current programs and materials across Avflight's network of 22 FBO's.

Duties:

Ensuring compliance with established Avflight Standards Preparing training and checking of instructional personnel and working with them to enhance existing and new courses and training material to a defined standard. Develop and implement normal and emergency operational procedures (SOP) Development of a training staff standardization and recording system Participation in accident/injury investigation and reporting Assisting with the ongoing improvement of the Safety Management System (SMS) Conducting on-site audits at all FBO locations and associated airline ground handling operations Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Minimum 10 years' experience in the aviation industry Experience in a leadership role, such as a Trainer, Lead, Supervisor, or Management Significant knowledge of Fuel Quality and Assurance (ATA 103), NFPA codes, SPCC Guidelines and requirements, General Industry OSHA regulations, and Training requirements Working knowledge of Avflight Standard Operating Procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office required Strong safety record A healthy regard for the importance of safety in the workplace Must possess strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Personable, organized, self-motivated, and has a strong work ethic Ability to multi-task Must be willing to travel frequently Must be 18 years or older High School diploma or GED equivalent Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test, have valid Driver's license with a good driving record within company standards Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
