Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Safety, Health, and Environmental Manager who can take ownership and help drive a proactive safety culture within our organization. In this role, you will maintain, develop, implement, lead, and oversee comprehensive safety programs that promote a secure workplace environment. Your expertise will ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental management standards, and occupational health requirements. By fostering a culture of safety, you will help prevent workplace incidents, protect employee well-being, and uphold regulatory standards that support sustainable operations. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies aligned with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), and other regulatory standards. You will be developing, and conducting training on safety standards, programs, and company policies. Collaborate with project management during project start to implement safe work policies before work begins. Conduct regular jobsite safety audits, hazard assessments, determine employee exposure, implement safe work procedures, perform root cause analysis, and incident investigations to identify risks and implement corrective actions. Maintain required environmental, safety, OSHA logs, and other required reports. Collaborate, lead, and support Cool Air Mechanical safety, health, and environmental programs, policies, and procedures which meet or exceed legal requirements and maintain compliance. Skills Extensive knowledge of OSHA safety regulations, environmental management systems, hazardous materials regulations, and occupational health standards. Excellent training & development skills to educate employees on workplace safety practices and regulatory standards. Ability to interpret complex safety regulations such as OSHA standards while applying them practically within the organization. Strong communication skills, with an ability to follow through. Strong written and verbal skills, proficient with Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Associates degree in Safety Management or related field. Experience working with ISN, Avetta or other third party safety qualification companies is very helpful.

From $90,000.00 per year
