Job Description

Supports plant health and safety compliance, industrial hygiene programs, incident investigations, air and noise monitoring, and supervision of facility security and change house operations. Job Requirements Experience in environmental health and safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, or a related manufacturing safety function. Knowledge of applicable workplace health and safety laws and regulations. Experience evaluating manufacturing plant conditions for health and safety compliance. Experience with industrial hygiene practices. Experience conducting air sampling and exposure monitoring. Experience conducting occupational noise monitoring. Experience with industrial hygiene monitoring equipment. Experience conducting or managing workplace safety inspections. Experience participating in incident investigations and root cause analysis. Experience developing and implementing corrective actions. Supervisory experience. Preferred Skills Manufacturing or industrial facility health and safety experience. Experience maintaining emergency response equipment inspection programs. Experience preparing health and safety reports and statistical analyses. Experience supporting employee safety and occupational health training programs. Experience supervising facility security, guard, or change house operations. Experience maintaining industrial hygiene equipment and monitoring records. Job Responsibilities Support implementation and administration of the plant safety program. Assess plant conditions for compliance with applicable health and safety requirements. Conduct or manage workplace health and safety inspections. Support enforcement of applicable occupational health and safety regulations and procedures. Conduct semi-annual occupational noise level measurements throughout required plant areas. Perform and support industrial hygiene air sampling and exposure monitoring activities. Inspect emergency response equipment and maintain equipment status logs. Maintain and support industrial hygiene monitoring equipment. Prepare health and safety reports, metrics, and statistical analyses for management review. Support safety and occupational health training programs. Participate in incident investigations. Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans. Track and support implementation of corrective actions. Supervise facility change house operations. Supervise facility guard operations within the Health & Safety function. Maintain health and safety inspection, monitoring, investigation, and compliance records.
