We're looking for a Quality & Food Safety Supervisor to lead our quality and food safety programs at our O'Fallon, Missouri manufacturing facility. In this highly visible leadership position, you'll partner with plant leadership to ensure the highest standards of food safety, regulatory compliance, and product quality while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. What You'll Do As the Quality & Food Safety Supervisor, you will: Lead the facility's Food Safety and Quality team, providing coaching, mentorship, and technical leadership. Serve as a key member of the O'Fallon Leadership Team, using quality metrics and data to influence business decisions and continuous improvement initiatives. Partner with Manufacturing Operations to ensure products consistently meet the highest quality and food safety standards. Lead investigations into quality and food safety issues, determine root causes, and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA). Drive problem-solving initiatives and customer complaint resolution using continuous improvement methodologies and EBOS principles. Prepare for and lead internal, customer, regulatory, certification, and corporate quality audits. Serve as the site's HACCP Subject Matter Expert, ensuring verification, validation, and compliance of the Food Safety Plan. Oversee GMPs, sanitation, environmental monitoring, cleaning programs, CCPs, and OPRPs to support GFSI certification and FSMA compliance. Act as the facility's GFSI Practitioner and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI). Develop, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions. Monitor key quality performance indicators and communicate results to plant leadership and Corporate Quality. Support the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and collaborate with corporate and other manufacturing facilities to ensure consistency and best practices. What You Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Food Safety, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 5-7 years of progressive experience in the food manufacturing industry. Minimum of 3 years of Quality Assurance leadership experience.
