Position Overview DSJ Global is partnered with a leading Paper industrial manufacturing organization seeking a Safety Manager to lead and execute facility-wide safety initiatives. This individual will be responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, reducing workplace risk, and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, policies, and procedures. Lead safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and compliance reviews. Manage incident investigations, root cause analyses, corrective actions, and follow-up activities. Coordinate and deliver employee safety training programs. Maintain OSHA-required records, documentation, and reporting. Lead programs including Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Hazard Communication, PPE, Contractor Safety, and Emergency Response. Monitor and analyze safety metrics to drive continuous improvement. Partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to strengthen the site safety culture. Support regulatory compliance and ongoing risk reduction initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred. 5+ years of safety experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices. Experience conducting workplace inspections, hazard assessments, JHAs, and incident investigations. Strong communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. OSHA 30, ASP, CSP, or similar certifications preferred.
