2952538505-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Messer Construction is seeking a Sr. Safety Manager to lead safety programs across our construction operations. In this role, you will develop and implement safety strategies, ensure OSHA and company compliance, conduct site audits, and drive continuous improvement. You will partner closely with project teams to plan safe work, investigate incidents, deliver training, and coach field leadership. Responsibilities Lead development and implementation of company-wide construction safety programs and policies Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations Conduct regular jobsite safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions Plan and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and onboarding for employees and contractors Support project teams with pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and safe work plans Analyze safety metrics, trends, and leading indicators; report findings and drive continuous improvement Partner with operations and project leadership to embed a strong safety culture Manage safety documentation, permits, and regulatory reporting Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies on safety matters Required Skills OSHA construction standards (29 CFR 1926) Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and risk assessment Incident investigation and root cause analysis Safety training design and delivery Construction site safety inspections and auditing Safety data analysis and reporting Regulatory compliance management Fall protection systems and controls Industrial hygiene and hazard recognition Safety program development and implementation
