Job Description

Overview At the North Dakota Safety Council, our mission is simple: saving lives and preventing injuries. The North Dakota Safety Council (NDSC) Driver Safety Program Manager is a key role that works closely with other NDSC personnel to carry out the NDSC's mission by coordinating Driver Safety objectives, strategies, and goals to manage efficient, well-run projects that have high impact in North Dakota. Duties Coordinate and manage Driver Safety and traffic training programs. Assess training needs and schedule courses with stakeholders. Promote Driver Safety programs through marketing and outreach. Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements. Support and develop trainers, subagents, and CDL training providers. Track, document, and report training outcomes. Maintain expertise on current training requirements and course updates. Develop strategies to increase enrollment, revenue, and program offerings. Assist with budgeting, grant applications, and financial performance. Serve as a Driver Safety representative through customer engagement, presentations, and public speaking. Oversee course reconciliation, certificates, and related administrative processes. Manage safety product sales and vendor relationships. Plan and support Driver Safety events, conferences, committees, and community outreach activities. Demonstrate professionalism and leadership while performing other duties as assigned. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Critical thinking skills and strategic mindset. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software for creating estimates, reports, and presentations. Proven experience in customer service, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships. Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to achieving program objectives and continuous improvement. Overnight travel may be required. Bachelor's or associate degree preferred but not required. Work Environment This position is located at the NDSC Safety Campus in Bismarck, ND. Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional flexibility based on workload demands. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
