The DOT Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing and managing health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

  Create and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards.

• Training and Education:

  Conduct safety training sessions for employees, ensuring they are informed about emergency preparedness, proper use of safety equipment and accident protocols.

• Safety Audits and Inspections:

  Perform regular safety audits and inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

• Incident Management:

  Lead investigations of workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.

• Reporting:

  Prepare and present safety reports to management, detailing safety performance and compliance with safety regulations.

Collaboration:

Work closely with operational groups and leadership to promote a culture of safety and drive continuous improvements in safety performance.

Education:

Bachelors Experience:

4-7 years

Qualifications:

• A bachelor???s degree in safety management, environmental safety, or a related field is typically required
