Responsibilities:
...Policy Development:
Create and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA standards.Training and Education:
Conduct safety training sessions for employees, ensuring they are informed about emergency preparedness, proper use of safety equipment and accident protocols.Safety Audits and Inspections:
Perform regular safety audits and inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Incident Management:
Lead investigations of workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.Reporting:
Prepare and present safety reports to management, detailing safety performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Collaboration:
Work closely with operational groups and leadership to promote a culture of safety and drive continuous improvements in safety performance.Working hours:
8:00 AM- 5:00
PM Skills:
- Certifications such as OSHA 500 or CSP (Certified Safety Professional) are highly preferred
Education:
Bachelors Experience:
4-7 yearsQualifications:
- A bachelor???s degree in safety management, environmental safety, or a related field is typically required
