Job Description
ND Grand Forks Full time R28872 Winland Foods is seeking a results-driven Quality Assurance Manager to lead food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance programs within our fast-paced private label manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring products consistently meet customer specifications, regulatory requirements, and company quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Quality Assurance Manager will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer teams to drive food safety initiatives, manage audits and inspections, oversee quality systems, and lead a team dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality products to consumers. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong technical expertise in food manufacturing, proven experience managing quality programs, and a passion for excellence in a customer-focused environment.

- Salary, based on experience and other qualifications:
- $93k - $138k with additional bonus potential

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:
- + Develop and manage processes and procedures for plant quality improvements.
Knowledge and Critical Skill Requirements:
- + Bachelor of Science in Food Science or related field.
QA + 3-5
years of department leadership + Knowledge of food safety, food manufacturing processes, technologies or other relevant area of responsibility + Knowledge of FDA and USDA specification regulations and documentation requirements. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) + Knowledge of thermal processes + Understanding of food safety and allergensPreferred:
- + Contract Manufacturing experience + TPM experience + SAP experience
