Job Description

Responsibilities The USACE Site Safety Officer supports specific client and project needs by ensuring best practices are implemented, safety compliance requirements are met, and enhance a culture of safety. Oversee all aspects of construction and dredging projects ensuring USACE (EM-3851-1) compliance Conduct daily safety meetings Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations Daily safety audits and inspections Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation Qualifications 5 years of direct construction and/or dredging safety experience USACE (United States Army Corps Engineers) experience preferred OHSA 30 Hour Construction; you must provide a WALLET card (paper certifications are not acceptable)

certification preferred First Aid CPR; on-line trainings will not be accepted Able to provide proof of 8 hours of safety training and or education every year for the last three (3) years.
Important note:
The OSHA 30 and First Aid do not count toward the 8 hour of training every year for the last three (3) years. This training is in addition to the 30 hour construction certification and First Aid.
