About MD Hyperbaric MD Hyperbaric is a medically supervised provider of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). We combine clinical oversight with operational excellence and a premium, patient-first experience. This is a clinical care environment, not a wellness spa — patient safety and protocol adherence are non-negotiable in everything we do. We are hiring a Lead Technician & Safety Coordinator to serve as a key operational leader within our center. This role combines hands-on patient care, ownership of the center's safety program, technician development, and operational leadership. This is an operational leadership role. While it does not carry direct management responsibility for hiring, scheduling, or performance management, it plays a critical role in supporting the Center Manager, developing technicians, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring daily operations are executed safely and consistently. This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys mentoring others, takes pride in operational excellence, and is interested in growing into larger leadership opportunities over time. Position Summary The Lead Technician & Safety Coordinator supports the successful operation of the center by maintaining operational excellence, overseeing the safety program, and developing technician competency. Working closely with the Center Manager, this role serves as the primary operational resource for the technician team and helps ensure daily operations are executed safely, consistently, and in accordance with MD Hyperbaric standards. The Lead Technician & Safety Coordinator provides leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to technician staff while supporting the Center Manager in delivering an exceptional patient experience, a strong team culture, and a high-performing center. This role is responsible for safety, operations, and technical competency development. The Center Manager remains responsible for team leadership, patient relationships, business performance, and overall center success. Partnership with the Center Manager The Lead Technician & Safety Coordinator works in close partnership with the Center Manager to support:

- A positive and accountable team culture While the Center Manager remains accountable for overall center performance, the Lead Technician serves as the operational leader responsible for supporting the successful execution of daily center operations.
- Deliver an exceptional, professional patient experience throughout the treatment journey.
- Build trust and rapport with patients while creating a welcoming, supportive, and professional environment.
- Conduct HBOT sessions in accordance with MD Hyperbaric clinical protocols.
- Monitor patients throughout treatment sessions and respond appropriately to patient needs.
- Prepare chambers, equipment, and treatment areas for daily operations.
- Maintain treatment quality, consistency, and professionalism.
- Support the Center Manager in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Safety Program Ownership
- Serve as the designated Safety Coordinator for the center.
- Partner with the Center Manager to maintain a culture of safety and accountability throughout the center.
- Maintain all daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual safety requirements.
- Conduct and document safety drills and emergency preparedness activities.
- Ensure compliance with all MD Hyperbaric safety standards and operating procedures.
- Maintain readiness of emergency equipment, safety resources, and required documentation.
- Identify safety risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Reinforce safety expectations and best practices across the technician team. Technical Training & Competency Development
- Partner with the Center Manager to support technician onboarding and development.
- Lead technical onboarding and technical skills training for technicians.
- Conduct competency validation and skills sign-offs.
- Certify which technicians are qualified to operate independently.
- Reinforce SOP compliance and operational consistency.
- Provide ongoing operational coaching and mentorship.
- Serve as the primary technical resource for technician staff. Operational Leadership
- Support the Center Manager by ensuring daily operations are executed safely, efficiently, and consistently.
- Serve as the primary operational resource for technician staff.
- Provide operational guidance, troubleshooting, and support during daily operations.
- Reinforce operational standards, safety expectations, and SOP compliance.
- Support operational readiness and center efficiency.
- Troubleshoot operational and equipment-related issues.
- Monitor inventory and supply needs.
- Identify operational issues and improvement opportunities and communicate recommendations to the Center Manager.
- Support implementation of operational improvements and new initiatives.
- Support patient experience concerns and operational issues as they arise.
- Assist with new patient inquiries, scheduling, and intake support when appropriate.
- Exercise sound judgment while following established escalation pathways.
- Escalate safety, clinical, patient, or business concerns appropriately when necessary.
- Help ensure the center is prepared to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality patient care every day.

- Serve as a trusted operational partner to the Center Manager. Qualifications
- Hyperbaric/chamber operations experience OR strong clinical/technical aptitude with the demonstrated ability to certify quickly.
- Current HBOT and/or safety certification preferred, or ability to obtain required certification(s) within a defined onboarding period.
- Prior healthcare, clinical, wellness, hospitality, or customer service experience strongly preferred.
- Prior leadership, training, mentoring, or coaching experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to earn trust, influence peers, and provide coaching without formal management authority.
- Comfort serving as a lead operational resource and making sound decisions within established procedures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Exceptional reliability, professionalism, and accountability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work Saturdays as part of a regular schedule. Compensation & Schedule
- Full-time hourly position compensated above the standard technician rate.
- Leadership, safety, training, and operational responsibilities are built into the compensation structure.
