The Spieker Company (General Contractors) is currently seeking a Safety Manager (Data Center) to join our team. We are seeking a construction focused Safety Manager to join our in-house Safety Department for a large scale and long term/multi-year data center project. Future opportunities with the company may be available after the end of the initial large scale project. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of occupational health and safety practices, as well as the construction industry. This role is crucial in fostering a safe work environment, and minimizing risks associated with the workplace hazards of a data center and/or large scale construction projects. The role will also lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. The role will also conduct field safety audits on a regular basis, lead morning pre-job briefs, lead toolbox talks and employee safety training sessions, and be the primary safety point of contact for The Spieker Company to all trade/construction management organizations. The ideal candidate shall possess the following qualifications:

• BCSP (Board of Certified Safety Professionals) credential (CHST or CSP).
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health certification
• First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.
• Strong computer skills including creation of Job Hazard Analysis, Toolbox talks, Procore, Microsoft Office.

The salary of the position is negotiable, and overtime and per-diem may be offered. The ideal candidate would be available to begin employment in January of 2027, with an anticipated start date on the data center project of February 2027.
