Responsibilities Lead site environmental health and safety (EHS) programs for warehousing and transportation operations Conduct regular safety audits, inspections and risk assessments across the facility Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and GXO safety standards Investigate incidents, near-misses and hazards; implement corrective and preventive actions Develop, deliver and track EHS training for associates, supervisors and contractors Analyze safety data and KPIs to identify trends and drive continuous improvement Collaborate with operations leaders to integrate safety into daily workflows and projects Maintain EHS documentation, permits, records and reporting requirements Support implementation of automation and material-handling technology with safe practices Lead safety committees, toolbox talks and engagement initiatives to build safety culture Required Skills Occupational safety management OSHA compliance EPA and environmental compliance DOT and transportation safety regulations Risk assessment and hazard analysis Incident investigation and root cause analysis EHS training development and delivery Safety auditing and inspections Data analysis and safety KPIs Warehouse and logistics operations safety Regulatory reporting and documentation Knowledge of automation and material-handling equipment safety
