Pretium Packaging is looking for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our growing manufacturing facility in Manchester, Pennsylvania. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on environmental compliance, safety, new equipment, and continuous improvement. What You'll Do Lead and support site Environmental, Health & Safety programs and initiatives. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, state, local, and company EHS requirements. Drive environmental programs including waste management, emissions, stormwater, chemical handling, and hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Support environmental inspections, permits, documentation, and regulatory reporting. Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance on EHS requirements for new equipment, installations, and process changes. Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments throughout the manufacturing operation. Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions. Maintain OSHA logs, EHS documentation, compliance records, and safety metrics. Deliver and reinforce training in Lockout/Tagout, PPE, hazard communication, machine guarding, ergonomics, and emergency response. Identify and reduce risks associated with plastics processing equipment, robotics and automation, compressed air systems, material handling, resins, and other manufacturing processes. Support emergency preparedness, including fire safety, evacuation procedures, spill response, drills, and medical emergency coordination. Build employee engagement and accountability around EHS through strong plant-floor presence and partnership with leadership. What You'll Bring 5-7 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong experience with environmental compliance and environmental programs. Experience in plastics, injection molding, blow molding, or similar process manufacturing strongly preferred. Experience working with production equipment, manufacturing processes, and raw materials—not solely assembly operations. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations. Experience with incident investigation, root-cause analysis, and corrective action. Ability to work effectively with plant employees, operations, maintenance, engineering, and leadership. Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills. OSHA 30 certification preferred. CHST, ASP, First Aid/CPR/AED, or other relevant safety certifications are a plus. Spanish language skills are a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
