Onsite - onsite Responsibilities Manage and promote a strong behavior-based, employee-driven safety culture across all locations and jobsites. Develop and deliver communications, training, and processes that emphasize Safety as the company's #1 value. Oversee Safety Team scheduling and facilitate Jobsite Safety visits for all projects across regions. Manage safety processes and key metrics to track safety trends and risk indicators. Collaborate with executives, field leaders, and risk management to develop corrective measures and conduct safety inspections, audits, and investigations. Work with project managers and field leaders to prepare safety-related input for bid proposals. Oversee employee safety training and update Safety Manuals as needed. Lead incident investigations and communicate findings throughout the organization. Perform job site inspections and recommend operational and safety improvements. Review safety documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Ensure every project site has a safety plan with identified risks and mitigation strategies. Schedule and track safety training sessions. Analyze safety metrics to improve safety compliance and program effectiveness. Maintain on-site presence and representation at selected projects. Requirements Hold a safety and health certification such as CSP, CIH, ASP, CHST, or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant construction safety and health experience, or a bachelor's degree in safety management or engineering with 7+ years of experience, or a minimum of 12 years of relevant construction safety experience. Completion of
OSHA 500
course in the last 5 years. Completion of OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach Training Course within the last 5 years. Board Certified Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or higher. Strong partnership skills with operations, management, and field crews to promote safety culture. Working knowledge of government safety regulations and ability to interpret regulatory requirements. CPR, First Aid, AED, and blood-borne pathogens training completion (e.g., Red Cross or equivalent). Drug & alcohol reasonable suspicion training. Leadership and communication skills, with a proactive and analytical approach to safety management. Physical ability to conduct frequent site visits, including climbing ladders, walking in uneven terrain, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
