365 Hotshot LLC is seeking an experienced Hotshot Trucking Operations & Safety Manager to oversee daily fleet operations, support our drivers and help maintain strong safety and compliance standards. requirements. The position is hybrid, with most administrative responsibilities completed remotely. Field work will be required for equipment inspections, driver meetings, onboarding, maintenance coordination and other operational needs. Approved travel expenses will be reimbursed. Key Responsibilities Monitor drivers' hours, Motive ELD logs, available clocks, pre-trip inspections and daily compliance Communicate with drivers and dispatch throughout the day regarding availability, delays, equipment problems and operational concerns Address load securement, equipment and safety concerns before drivers continue operating Assist drivers with roadside inspections, violations, breakdowns and urgent operational issues Coordinate truck and trailer repairs, preventive maintenance and annual DOT inspections Review DOT inspection reports and ensure required repairs and follow-up documentation are completed Conduct or assist with truck, trailer and equipment inspections when needed Help onboard and train new drivers and owner-operators Reinforce company procedures, communication requirements and safety expectations Monitor driver compliance with Hours of Service, ELD and company operating procedures Hold drivers accountable and report significant safety or operational concerns to company ownership Complete local field work and respond to time-sensitive after-hours situations when necessary Work closely with dispatch, compliance personnel and company ownership to keep the fleet operating safely and efficiently Required Qualifications Minimum of 3-4 years of trucking, hotshot, fleet operations, safety or dispatch experience Extensive working knowledge of Motive ELD and Hours of Service requirements Strong knowledge of flatbed freight and proper cargo securement Strong working knowledge of FMCSA regulations and DOT requirements Experience assisting drivers with roadside inspections, violations and compliance concerns Ability to recognize basic truck, trailer and equipment safety or maintenance problems Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to remain calm, professional and organized during urgent situations Ability to work independently, make sound decisions and maintain consistent communication Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local field work Basic computer, email and mobile-application skills Preferred Qualifications Current or previous CDL experience Previous hotshot driving or operations-management experience Experience managing owner-operators or independent contractors Knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance Experience training drivers on DOT compliance, Hours of Service and cargo securement The ideal candidate is dependable, responsive, knowledgeable and able to balance driver support with accountability.
