You will ensure the highest standards of health and safety for employees, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of best practices. You will report directly to our Director HSE and you'll work out of our Columbus, OH or other US location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact our organization by overseeing the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental programs that ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders will ensure that HSE considerations are integrated into business processes and decision-making, contributing to the overall success and reputation of our business as a responsible and sustainable organization.
YOU MUST HAVE
8 or more years of experience in HSE management. In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices. Strong development, mentoring, and coaching skills and ability to support HSE Leaders and champions. Contribute to talent management, succession planning, and development plans for HSE leaders across the region. Willingness to travel 30 -40% to Honeywell facilities throughout the US and Canada.
WE VALUE
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Safety, or related field 8 or more years progressive experience in HSE leadership roles within industrial, manufacturing, or regulated environments. Experience leading multi-site or regional HSE programs Ability to inspire and motivate a team. Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive results through others. Strong working knowledge of management systems, audits, and governance frameworks. Experience with regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, Canadian equivalents) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Certification in HSE or a related field is a plus. Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies that align with the organization's mission, ensuring a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility. Ensure that the organization complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications. Regional Governance, Oversight, Accountability, and Leadership Provide regional oversight for HSE performance, compliance, and risk management. Lead MOS, escalation, and issue resolution in alignment with Honeywell escalation protocols. Ensure timely escalation of significant risks, events, and performance concerns to Corporate HSEPS leadership. Validate execution effectiveness through event verification, site reviews, and Governance Audits.
