Job Description

Job Title:
EH&S Manager Location:
West Greenwich, Rhode Island (On-Site)
Job Summary:
We are supporting a unique opportunity for an EH&S Manager to contribute to a major construction environment where safety, planning, and field engagement are central to success. Our team is seeking a professional who can strengthen site safety performance, support project teams, and help drive consistent compliance across day-to-day construction activity.
Responsibilities:
Support the construction safety program and serve as the on-site safety resource for project teams and trade partners. Develop project safety plans covering site logistics, emergency response, permits, and high-risk work controls. Implement field inspections and audits, and report safety performance, corrective actions, leading indicators, and emerging risks to project leadership. Partner with owners, project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to promote safe construction operations and address safety impacts from scope, schedule, design, and logistics changes.
Required:
Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 2 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience, or Associate's degree with 8 years of experience, or high school diploma / GED with 10 years of experience. Strong understanding of commercial and industrial construction operations, including multi-employer work sites. Knowledge of OSHA construction standards and applicable federal, state, and local construction safety regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of construction safety principles, risk-control methods, regulatory requirements, and practical field application. Strong communication, presentation, program-development, and construction project-management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer software systems.
