Job Description

Job Description We are seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety operations across multiple commercial construction projects, including schools, hospitals, and automotive dealership facilities. This role will be responsible for promoting a strong safety culture, ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting site audits, and supporting project teams through proactive risk management and incident prevention. The Safety Manager will primarily travel between three local project sites, typically visiting 1-2 sites per day. Key Responsibilities Lead and enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations across all project sites. Conduct daily site inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments. Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries and implement corrective actions. Facilitate new hire safety orientations and ongoing safety training. Conduct toolbox talks and safety meetings with field personnel and subcontractors. Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), site-specific safety plans, and high-risk work activities. Monitor subcontractor compliance and maintain required safety documentation. Partner with project managers and superintendents to proactively identify and mitigate risks. Maintain OSHA logs, inspection reports, and regulatory records. Serve as the primary point of contact for all project safety matters.
