Champion a proactive safety culture that emphasizes planning, accountability, and employee engagement. Partner with project management, superintendents, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure safe execution of all work activities. Field Operations Conduct daily site inspections and comprehensive safety audits. Identify hazards and implement effective corrective actions. Verify compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and client safety standards.

Monitor high-risk activities including:

Crane operations Rigging Steel erection Electrical work Excavation Confined Space Lockout/Tagout Elevated work Energized systems Heavy equipment operations Planning & Risk Management Review and approve: Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) Pre-Task Plans (PTPs) Lift Plans Permit-required work High-risk activity planning Participate in daily planning meetings. Provide safety guidance during project scheduling and execution. Training & Development Conduct New employee orientations Toolbox Talks Safety Stand Downs OSHA-required training Client-specific safety training Coach supervisors and craft employees on hazard recognition and risk mitigation. Mentor junior safety professionals to strengthen overall team capability. Incident Management Lead incident investigations. Perform root cause analysis. Develop corrective and preventive actions. Prepare professional investigation reports. Track safety metrics and performance trends.

Maintain accurate documentation including:

Daily reports Inspection records Training documentation Incident reports Corrective action tracking Safety observations Regulatory compliance records Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of commercial or industrial construction safety experience 5+ years leading construction safety programs or project safety teams

Compensation & Benefits Hourly Rate:

$40-$45/hour

$150/day (based on qualifying commute distance)
