Sturgis, SD, 57785 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Supervisor to join our South Dakota / Wyoming team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural operations combined with knowledge of energy industry safety standards. This role is critical in ensuring a safe working environment by implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and monitor safety programs and policies in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across agricultural and energy-related operations. Provide safety training and education to employees to promote a culture of safety awareness. Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with management and operational teams to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices, particularly in agriculture and energy sectors. Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety tools. Qualifications Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role, preferably within agricultural and energy industries. Strong understanding of agricultural operations and associated safety challenges. Knowledge of energy sector safety regulations and practices. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to conduct thorough safety audits and risk assessments. Certification in safety management or related fields is a plus. High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
