Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Health & Safety Administer occupational safety programs across office, warehouse, engineering, and field environments Maintain OSHA compliance, recordkeeping, inspections, and corrective actions Coordinate employee safety training and certifications (LOTO, electrical safety, NFPA 70E, fall protection, forklift, PPE, and more) Manage incident reporting, root-cause investigations, and corrective and preventive action plans Conduct field, warehouse, and lab safety observations and audits Contractor, Vendor & Customer Compliance Verify contractor and vendor safety programs, certifications, and insurance before work begins Monitor contractor safety performance and coordinate corrective actions Serve as primary coordinator for customer safety requirements, questionnaires, and prequalification platforms Maintain audit-ready compliance documentation Product Agency & Regulatory Compliance Manage product certification for new and existing products with UL, Intertek/ETL, and other NRTLs Partner with Product Engineering to identify applicable standards (UL, IEC, NFPA) and certification requirements Manage agency quotations, scopes of work, budgets, and project schedules Coordinate certification submissions, testing, agency findings, and corrective actions Maintain certification records, renewals, and surveillance obligations Evaluate engineering changes and component substitutions for certification impact Metrics & Reporting Track and report safety metrics (OSHA recordables, lost-time rate, training completion, corrective-action closure) Track and report product compliance metrics (active certifications, first-pass test rate, open findings, cost vs. budget)
Qualifications:
Required 5+ years in occupational health and safety, EHS, product compliance, regulatory compliance, or a related technical field Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety program administration Experience managing audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions Experience with contractor, vendor, or customer compliance programs Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, documentation, and deadlines Strong organizational, project-management, and communication skills Ability to read technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and test reports Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping systems Preferred Experience coordinating product certification with UL, Intertek/ETL, or other NRTLs Familiarity with UL, IEC, and NFPA product safety standards Experience with power-conversion, UPS, battery, energy-storage, or industrial control products Experience supporting engineering product-development organizations OSHA 30 Certification CSP, OHST, or similar safety credential Experience with ISO-based quality or environmental management systems
