Job Description

PREFERENCES
Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive experience within the deregulated electric utility industry. Demonstrated expertise as a subject matter expert (SME) in back-office applications, business operations, market processes, and ERCOT protocols, working groups, and regulatory requirements. Strong understanding of wholesale and retail market operations, industry compliance standards, and utility business processes. Proven experience gathering, documenting, and translating business needs into functional business requirements. Skilled in leading or supporting the testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of business process and system solutions. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and ensure alignment with market and regulatory requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the deregulated electric utility industry and serve as a recognized subject matter expert in back-office systems, market operations, and ERCOT requirements. This individual will have a strong track record of developing business requirements, facilitating testing efforts, and implementing process improvements and technology solutions that enhance business performance and compliance
