Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards
• Investigate and respond to complaints regarding environmental health hazards
• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate workplace hazards and promote a safe working environment
• Provide guidance and training to employees on occupational health and safety practices
• Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions, including air quality, noise levels, and hazardous materials handling
• Prepare detailed reports on findings, violations, and recommendations for corrective action
• Collaborate with management to develop and revise safety policies and procedures
• Stay up-to-date with changes in workers compensation laws and regulations

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field
• Proven experience working as an Environmental Health Officer or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) regulations and standards
• Strong report writing skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
• Familiarity with workers compensation laws and procedures
• Certification in First Aid, CPR, or related emergency response training is preferred
