Position Summary:

The ideal candidate for this position will be energetic and passionate about safety. The Field Safety Supervisor will oversee the employee training/onboarding process and assist with the daily execution of the company's safety and health activities. The Field Safety Supervisor will also be called upon to assist with the safety/compliance of the company's DOT/Waste programs. The Field Safety Supervisor will be expected to spend the majority of his/her time in the field conducting field safety audits and equipment inspections as well as managing PPE inventory. This role can be a hourly or salaried position reporting to the company's Operations Manager.

Position Responsibilities:

• Take lead in managing the company's field health and safety programs.
• Provide safety training and help with the onboarding of all new employees.
• Represent the company for all safety related interactions with clients.
• Incident investigation, reporting, and corrective action.
• Assist with generating site specific safety plans for projects as needed.
• Perform health in safety audit in the field.
• Maintain excellent communication with EEW personnel and 3rd party vendors.
• Spend 60% + of your time in the field observing and interacting with our field employees.

Position Qualifications:

• 2 plus years of health and safety experience within the industrial services market.
• Working and practical knowledge of OSHA 1910 and state safety/health regulations as it pertains to industrial services.
• Experience operating inside of safety databases/consortiums (IsNet, Avetta, DISA)
• Ability to relate to field personnel and lead by example.
• Ability to craft professional emails and correspond with client safety representatives.
• Attention to detail and time management
• Computer literate with competency within Microsoft Office Suite.
