Job Overview:

The QHSE Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the company's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental programs. The role ensures operations meet company standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety and quality culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain company QHSE policies, procedures, and programs. Lead workplace safety programs, inspections, audits, and corrective actions. Maintain compliance with applicable OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements. Manage employee safety orientation, training, certifications, and required documentation. Investigate incidents, injuries, near misses, quality failures, and environmental events; determine root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions. Maintain OSHA logs and other required QHSE records. Conduct Job Safety Analyses/JHAs and risk assessments. Monitor PPE requirements and safe-work practices. Manage environmental compliance, waste handling, spill prevention, and emergency-response programs. Develop and maintain the company Quality Management System (QMS). Manage customer quality requirements, nonconformances, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality audits. Coordinate third-party and customer QHSE audits. Track QHSE KPIs and provide regular reports to senior management. Manage contractor/vendor QHSE qualification and compliance where applicable. Maintain programs such as ISNetworld, Veriforce, Avetta, or customer-specific compliance systems where required. Conduct regular shop, facility, field, and job-site inspections. Stop work when an immediate serious safety or environmental hazard exists. Work directly with operations and management to correct unsafe conditions without unnecessarily disrupting production. Lead continuous improvement efforts related to safety, quality, environmental performance, and operational risk.

Qualifications:

Typically 5+ years of

QHSE/EHS

experience in an industrial, manufacturing, construction, or oil & gas environment; strong knowledge of OSHA requirements; experience with incident investigation, auditing, training, and corrective actions; strong communication and leadership skills.

CSP, ASP, CHST, ISO

auditor, or similar certifications are valuable but can be listed as preferred rather than mandatory.
