Who we are Elevate Jet is the modern evolution of Elevate Aviation Group, nearly thirty years of private aviation expertise now operating as the FAA-certificated airline within the organization. We manage and operate aircraft directly, pairing operational excellence with seamless technology for clients whose time is their most valuable asset. We're looking for a detail-driven, self-directed compliance professional to run the daily operations of our Safety Management System (SMS), TSA security program, and FAA Drug & Alcohol program, while keeping flight crew records airtight under FAR 135.63 and FAR 111. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role focused on program execution, not executive safety leadership. What You'll Do Safety Administer the
SMS:
hazard reporting, safety risk assessments, and the SMS Manual under FAR Part 135 Serve as a conduit between staff and management on safety issues Support internal safety investigations and Emergency Response Plan readiness, including mock drills Keep the Safety Committee scheduled and documented Regulatory Compliance Maintain the TFSSP and deliver TSA training to Part 135 pilots Manage the Master Crew List and Master Personnel List, resolving TSA/DHS vetting issues Host annual TSA audits and liaise with the Principal Security Specialist Serve as DER for the Drug & Alcohol program: scheduling DOT testing, notifying managers of results, and hosting FAA audits Flight Crew Records Own pilot records under FAR 135.63, including the monthly Crew Due List Coordinate simulator training and travel logistics Maintain ARGUS, Charter X/Wyvern, and PRD entries per FAR 111 Track monthly flight and duty reports; support crew background screenin
Requirements:
What You Bring Working knowledge of FAA Parts 91/135, TSA TFSSP, and FAA/DOT Drug & Alcohol regulations 5+ years in Part 135 aviation with safety, security, or compliance exposure Bachelor's degree in aviation management or equivalent experience SMS Course certification, or willingness to obtain one High attention to detail, sound judgment, and comfort working independently
