The Construction Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs across multiple active construction sites. This position leads a team of safety professionals and serves as the primary safety representative in both internal and external stakeholder engagements. The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in safety culture and compliance. Key Responsibilities Safety Program Management Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide and site-specific safety programs, policies, and procedures Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state, and local safety regulations across multiple project sites Lead Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and site safety plans Team Leadership & Multi-Site Oversight Manage, mentor, and oversee a team of safety staff assigned across multiple active project sites Assign coverage, monitor performance, and ensure consistent safety standards are applied across all locations Provide coaching, guidance, and professional development for safety personnel Conduct field audits of safety staff to ensure quality, consistency, and effectiveness Site Oversight & Inspections Meetings & Stakeholder Coordination Training & Education Incident Management Collaboration & Communication Reporting & Documentation Conduct and oversee regular site safety inspections and audits; review findings and corrective actions Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and ensure timely corrective action is taken Verify proper use of PPE, fall protection systems, equipment, and safety controls Hold and attend safety meetings with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal project teams Participate in project kickoff meetings, pre-construction meetings, and ongoing coordination meetings Serve as the primary safety representative in client and contractor discussions Communicate safety expectations, requirements, and corrective actions clearly and consistently Deliver and oversee safety orientations for new hires, contractors, and subcontractors Ensure ongoing safety training, toolbox talks, and refresher courses are conducted across all sites Maintain training records and ensure certifications are current Lead and oversee incident, accident, and near-miss investigations across all projects Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive action plans Prepare and submit incident reports and regulatory documentation as required Partner with project leadership to integrate safety into planning and daily operations Promote accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across all teams Maintain OSHA logs, safety metrics, inspection reports, and compliance documentation Track safety performance indicators across projects and provide regular reporting to leadershipSalary 150K to $200K plus benefits Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) 7+ years of construction safety experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and multi-site construction safety best practicesPreferred OSHA 30-Hour Certification (or equivalent) CHST, CSP, ASP, or other recognized safety certifications Experience managing safety teams across multiple concurrent construction projects Work Environment Regular travel between multiple active construction sites Exposure to outdoor conditions, noise, and construction equipment Requires walking, climbing, and standing for extended periodsMinimum ▼Base salary $150K~$200
