EHS Manager leads the company's environmental, health, and safety strategy, ensuring compliance with all regulations, managing permits, reporting, and audits. The role drives a culture of safety, develops policies and training, and collaborates across functions to mitigate risks and protect the workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure site compliance with all EHS regulations and prepare permitting documents Prepare and submit required EHS reports (Tier II, STEERS, Form R, etc.) Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and communication materials Conduct risk assessments and drive corrective actions to mitigate hazards Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis, implementing corrective/preventive actions Drive EHS culture change and maintain an EHS KPI grid with leadership Keep EHS records organized and up to date Develop and oversee EHS training programs for employees and contractors, including PIT Conduct internal audits and lead external regulatory inspections Communicate with stakeholders and prepare periodic EHS communication materials Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives Maintain required certifications/licenses and follow standard operating procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Chemistry, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of EHS experience in a chemical manufacturing/industrial environment Experience preparing site permitting documents Experience preparing and filing EHS reports (Tier II, STEERS, Form R, Storm Water, etc.) Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, PHA, PSM, DOT, and environmental regulations Experience with risk assessment, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive organizational change

Preferred Skills:

Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, Six Sigma, or equivalent experience Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM), PHA, and hazardous chemical handling
