ABOUT THE OUTLETS AT TRAVERSE MOUNTAIN
We are Utah's Most Beautiful Place to Save, Utah's only Outlet shopping center located in the heart of the Salt Lake Valley with 360 views of Mt. Timpanogos and Utah Lake. Our customers enjoy our safe facility and many amenities, while shopping at 60 name brand retail Outlets. Outlets at Traverse Mountain is currently seeking to hire a qualified Security & Safety Manager to plan, direct and review the activities, personnel, and operations of the security department. SUMMARY The Security and Safety Manager plans, directs, and reviews the activities, operations, personnel, and related projects of the security department, including emergency preparedness. This role coordinates assigned activities with other departments, companies, and agencies. The position requires daily on-site responsibilities, including active participation in patrols and duties expected of all security officers, in addition to managerial and leadership responsibilities. The position is not considered an office position, although general administrative skills and strong written communication skills are required. The schedule includes weekends and designated holidays for Manager on Duty or special event obligations, as well as other times when business needs may require filling shifts and off-hours communication.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES SCHEDULE
8:30 AM- 5:00 PM Thursday
- Monday (OFF Tuesday
- Wednesday) Direct, oversee, and participate in the development of the center's security work plan and assigned work activities, projects, and programs.
