1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Health RN for a day-shift role focused on caregiver health services, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a WA or compact RN license. Details Occupational Health department within a hospital setting focused on caregiver (employee) health rather than direct patient care Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Duties include new hire health screens, vaccine administration, blood and body fluid exposure management, respiratory protection training, and communicable disease management Uses a new in-house EHR system (Epic is not used at this facility) Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required (can include Charge RNs or Leads) Must provide response regarding any prior work history with the health system (permanent, travel, or per-diem) as part of consideration Additional Information Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the consideration process May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location Local candidates accepted, with a 50-mile radius rule applying for eligibility at the standard pay rate Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility First-time travelers are welcome to apply
