Job Title:
Safety Ambassador Lead Job Description The Safety Ambassador Lead provides field leadership for autonomous delivery operations, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, incident readiness, and consistent execution of safety standards. The Lead serves as the primary field escalation resource and coach for Safety Ambassadors. Responsibilities + Lead, coach, and support Safety Ambassadors in daily operations. + Ensure compliance with operational and safety procedures. + Coordinate daily deployment plans, staffing coverage, and route execution. + Verify fleet, vehicle, and equipment readiness. + Serve as an escalation point for incidents and operational disruptions. + Conduct safety observations and reinforce best practices. + Support onboarding, training, and certification activities. + Track operational performance metrics and reporting. + Drive process improvements and partner with operations and technical teams. + Communicate field updates, risks, and resource needs to management. Essential Skills + Experience in field operations, logistics, transportation, robotics, or safety-related environments. + Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience. + Strong communication, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills. + Experience supporting safety-sensitive operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Veteran, Military, Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, Coast Guard. + Technician, Electrical Technician, Mechanical Technician, Robotics, Avionics. Work Environment Worksite is located in Austin, Texas at Campo Del Sol Parkway in Buda, Texas. Shifts are 10-hour days with a 1-hour lunch. There are two leads forFront End:
Monday-Thursday 7am-6pm, and two leads forBack End:
Friday-Sunday 7am-6pm. The role offers a 3-4 month project with the possibility of extension into 2027, completion bonuses, and overtime availability. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
