4 x10hrs, specific time and day off to be determined This is a South-Region Froedtert role with primary location on-site and at Froedtert Hospital No weekends/holidays Seeking an additional MR Safety Officer to partner with and join our robust practices and team across the Froedtert Thedacare South Region. You will work alongside our currentMRSO, MR
Leadership, Radiologists, Physicists, and Technologists. Daily expectations include expediting outpatient implant triage and engaging with MR Technologists and providers around acute safety related needs. Additionally, our MRSO supports education for technologists on safety and aides in specialized safety needs at the scanner as needed. Our MRSO will work collaboratively with MR Physicists, MRSE, MRMD and MR Leadership to maintain high quality standards and support safe environments for our patients and staff. Our MRSO is engaged in our MR Safety Committee, MR safety related policies, and engaged in MR safety quality initiatives. A high level of detail is required for this role, with emphasis on accuracy, quality, critical thinking, and communication skills.EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
Five years minimum experience as an MRI Technologist is required.EDUCATION DESCRIPTION
Graduate of an JCERT approved two-year radiologic technology program is required. Graduate of an JCERT approved two-year radiologic technology program is required. Two or four year college degree in radiologic technology, healthcare, business or other related degree is preferred.SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION
Communication; teaching ability geared to multiple audience learning levels; computer and programming skills; ability to relate to a variety of people with varying degrees of cognitive skills.LICENSURE DESCRIPTION
ARRT Certification in Radiologic Technology and ARRT Certification in Magnetic Resonance is required. MRSO certificate preferred within 12 months of hire, but required within 18 months based on ABMRS exam schedule. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire. MRSO comprehensive program completion is strongly preferred.
