Core Responsibilities Department Leadership:

Hire, train, schedule, and supervise maintenance staff.

Systems Maintenance:

Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems.

Preventative Maintenance:

Run routine property inspections and keep detailed service logs.

Vendor & Project Management:

Coordinate third-party contractors and handle property improvement plans.

Compliance & Safety:

Meet local, state, and federal building codes (OSHA, EPA, and fire safety standards).

Budgeting & Sustainability:

Control repair costs, order supplies, and drive energy-efficiency initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience:

Building maintenance or hotel engineering experience, including prior supervisory experience.

Education:

High school diploma or GED; trade school or vocational training in a technical field is preferred but not necessary.
