• Occupational Health Anniston , AL Nursing Support full-time , days/evenings , Days Req # 15319 Provides direct patient care as ordered by a physician and directed by a CRNP or CMA. Includes performing diagnostic tests, completing referral authorization, and instructing patient/client about treatment/work status. Performs urine and hair drug screens. Package and shipment of drug screens required by company protocol. Maintains organization of clinical areas and restocks inventory as needed. Cannot administer medications. Assists with all clinical/clerical tasks as needed to provide service excellence. Performs clinical activities required to assist the physician in a clinical setting. Exercises appropriate measures to maintain high standards of patient care. Collects and processes drug screen samples in compliance with protocol. Assists with the discharge of patients. Follows up with patients and assists in case management. Orders and maintains neat and orderly stock of supplies. Complies with standards of JCAHO and other governing agencies.
