Job Description

Join Our Team at First Response Health & Safety! As an OHT, you will serve as an essential member of our team. Your primary responsibilities will include administering first-aid care, conducting drug & alcohol screenings, and undertaking various tasks aimed at enhancing the overall health and well-being of all workers on site. You will work closely with the construction site safety managers and site management to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel at the site. Your dedication and expertise will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of wellness and safety within our construction work-site community.
Qualifications:
Current EMT or Paramedic Certification Hold up to date CPR/BLS Certification Must be able to work Nights/Weekends if requested. Possess excellent verbal / written communication skills Have a positive and outgoing personality Comfortable working in a construction environment Competent in using web-based apps and software programs daily •
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on construction sites CPR/First Aid Instructor Hold an OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 construction safety certificate
Responsibilities:
The day-to-day role of our OHTs includes Drug & alcohol screenings, First Aid injury response, Injury follow-ups, case management, and wellness screenings for workers. Must be able to work Nights/Weekends as needed. The position's responsibilities include collaborative work with the medical and operational leadership at First Response, local medical providers, client staff, with key contacts within the client's corporate structure Provide superior customer service to all site staff, clients, and subcontractors working at the site Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to the First Response Occupational First Aid Protocols Build and maintain internal team relationships Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts Drug and Alcohol screenings of all workers onsite Documentation of care using patient care reporting software (PCR) and other tools

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
