Job Description

We are looking for an EHS Specialist to support our manufacturing operations by helping maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient workplace. In this role, you'll partner closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to implement EHS programs, reduce risk, and promote a strong safety culture. What You'll Do Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations Support hazard assessments and help teams identify and reduce workplace risks Deliver and coordinate safety training (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, HAZCOM, Emergency Response, Fire Safety) Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions Conduct routine inspections and support environmental programs (SWPPP, SPCC, air emissions, hazardous materials) Assist with sustainability initiatives focused on waste and energy reduction Maintain emergency response plans and participate in drills Promote employee engagement and accountability around safety practices Keep accurate records for EHS activities, OSHA logs, inspections, and training Collaborate with operations, maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to integrate safety into daily work What We're Looking For Associates degree in EHS, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field (or equivalent experience) 1-3 years of EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations Experience with hazard assessments, job safety analysis, or behavior-based safety programs is a plus Strong problem-solving and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Relevant certifications (or willingness to pursue): HAZWOPER, Confined Space, Lockout/Tagout, Train-the-Trainer Ability to access all work areas, including confined or hard-to-reach spaces Why Join Us Opportunity to make a real impact on employee safety and site performance Collaborative team environment Room for growth and professional development
