3-Month Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager / Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) to oversee safety operations on a construction project in Yuma, Arizona. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction safety background, ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, and promote a safe work environment for all personnel on site. Responsibilities Oversee daily site safety activities on the construction project. Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies. Conduct daily safety inspections and identify/correct potential hazards. Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee safety training. Investigate incidents, near misses, and prepare required reports. Monitor subcontractor safety compliance. Maintain all required safety documentation and records. Work closely with project management to ensure safe execution of construction activities. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Manager, SSHO, or Construction Safety Manager. Strong experience working on construction projects. OSHA 30 Certification (Required). Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard identification, and accident prevention. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work full-time on-site in Yuma, AZ for the duration of the project. #
