Role Description The IH Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Anderson, CA, supporting industrial hygiene and environmental health projects in the field and office. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting sampling and monitoring for asbestos, lead, mold, particulates, and other contaminants, performing air quality and exposure assessments, and assisting with wildfire impact and disaster response evaluations. The role involves collecting and managing field data, maintaining sampling equipment, documenting findings, and preparing clear, accurate inspection and monitoring reports. The IH Technician collaborates with project managers and senior consultants, follows established safety protocols and regulatory requirements, and interacts professionally with clients, contractors, and public agencies during site visits. The position may require occasional travel to project sites, working in varied environmental conditions, and adherence to company health and safety standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in environmental sampling and monitoring (e.g., air, surface, bulk sampling) and basic industrial hygiene measurement techniques. Candidates should possess skills in data collection, documentation, and report writing, including accurate recordkeeping and clear communication of findings. Candidates should possess skills in interpreting and applying relevant regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, EPA, state environmental and health codes).
