Opportunity:
Grimmway Produce Group is seeking a Food Safety Compliance Specialist responsible for supporting the implementation, maintenance, verification, and continuous improvement of the Food Safety & Quality Management Systems for Grimmway Farms. This position assists in ensuring compliance with SQF, Juice
HACCP, FDA
regulations, customer requirements, and company policies through program ownership, internal auditing, verification activities, record review, corrective action management and audit support. Additional Info What You Will Need:
Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in Food Science, Biochemistry, Biological Sciences, Microbiology, Agricultural Sciences, related field or equivalent work experience. Working knowledge of food safety principles and prerequisite programs. Must understand the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) standards and Organic compliance standards (e.g., NOP). A willingness to acquire additional training and certification, including Juice HACCP and SQF Practitioner and/or Internal Auditor training, within six months of being hired. Strong computer skills and experience in Microsoft Office. Excellent leadership, conflict resolution, and professional communication skills. Ability to effectively respond to concerns of managers, subordinates, customers, and regulatory agencies. Good technical writing, statistical, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Remote work is not available for this position. Must have the ability to travel periodically. Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets company policy, insurance, and DMV requirements. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment screening consistent with applicable state and federal law.
What Will Set You Apart:
2 years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, food manufacturing, or related field. Experience supporting GFSI certification programs (SQF, BRCGS, PrimusGFS, etc.) Bilingual English/Spanish.
Benefits Total Rewards:
$70,304 - 75,000 /
Yearly Filling Deadline:
July 2nd, 2026 (Internal Candidates) Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
