Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and environmental regulations. Support and improve HSE programs, policies, and
ISO 45001
management systems. Lead and coordinate safety training, audits, inspections, and corrective actions. Investigate incidents and help implement preventive solutions. Monitor environmental compliance, including air, wastewater, and regulatory reporting. Maintain a strong presence on the production floor, identifying hazards and promoting safe work practices. Track HSE performance metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, and leadership to strengthen workplace safety.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related technical field preferred. 3+ years of HSE experience in a manufacturing, food, chemical, or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and environmental regulations. Experience with audits, incident investigations, safety training, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
