Job Description

FASTECH is an end-to-end EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Maintenance) energy solutions provider headquartered in Fountain Valley, CA, and one of the leading hydrogen fueling station builders in the United States. Founded in 1998, we've built 60+ hydrogen stations, 250+ CNG stations, and serviced 1,000+ petroleum stations across 19 states and 10 Canadian provinces. We hold a safety-first culture (EMR 0.78, 14 safety certifications) and CA License #794519. Regional offices in San Diego, Sacramento, Seattle, Colorado, and Hawaii. FASTECH is seeking an HSE Specialist to drive our safety-first culture across offices and jobsites. You'll manage permits, incident reporting, field safety oversight, and environmental compliance for construction and maintenance operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct jobsite safety audits, inspections, and tailgate talks across construction and field-service operations.
  • Manage high-risk work permits, incident reporting, and investigations
  • Maintain environmental compliance records and reporting.
  • Deliver safety training and onboarding; track certifications and expirations.
  • Support emergency response planning and corrective-action follow-up.
  • Partner with Service Line Managers and foremen to close safety gaps and sustain our EMR performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years in an HSE/safety role in construction, energy, or industrial environments.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA (Cal/OSHA a plus), EPA, and hazardous-materials regulations.
  • OSHA 30 required; CHST, CSP, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and training skills.
  • Valid driver's license; ability to travel to jobsites.
PREFERRED
  • Experience with fueling/hydrogen/CNG sites, confined-space and hot-work programs.

Pay:
$70,000.00
