This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for an organized HSE professional who enjoys improving workplace safety, supporting compliance, coordinating training, and building strong relationships with employees and department leaders. The Health and Safety Administrator will work closely with the HSE Manager and cross-functional teams to help maintain a safe, compliant, and well-documented work environment. This role offers variety, visibility, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement in a company setting that values teamwork, accountability, and proactive safety leadership. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and administer Health, Safety and Environmental programs, including documentation, audits, inspections, training records, and compliance tracking. Assist with safety policy development, safety meeting topics, safety drills, training programs, and employee awareness materials. Inspect facilities, equipment, and work practices to identify hazards, regulatory concerns, and corrective action needs. Support accident, incident, near-miss, hazard complaint, and injury investigations in coordination with the HSE Manager. Maintain HSE records, OSHA 300 logs, SDS databases, workers compensation documentation, and third-party administrator accounts. Support hazardous materials and hazardous waste programs, including waste reporting, spill response coordination, and regulatory compliance.
Compensation and Benefits Pay rate:
$30 to $32.50 per hour.
