Full Job Description Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) / Quality Assurance Engineer to support critical construction projects within the Solar Energy, EV Charging Infrastructure, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Renewable Energy sectors.

This position is ideal for a hands-on safety and quality professional who can lead compliance efforts, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure construction activities meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Leadership Serve as the designated Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) for assigned projects. Implement and manage site-specific Safety and Health Plans. Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and workplace assessments. Lead toolbox talks, orientation sessions, and safety training programs. Develop and review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs). Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project safety requirements. Quality Assurance & Quality Control Perform quality inspections and verification of construction activities. Ensure work complies with project specifications, codes, standards, and contract requirements. Track and resolve quality deficiencies and non-conformance issues. Maintain inspection reports, punch lists, testing documentation, and quality records. Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, and project leadership to maintain quality standards. Compliance & Reporting Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly safety and quality reports. Support internal and external audits. Maintain accurate project documentation and regulatory records. Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety and quality requirements.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
Required Experience:
5+ years of construction safety and/or quality assurance experience. Proven experience working on Solar, EV Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, or Energy Storage projects. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Must be eligible to obtain or currently possess Level 50 Access Authorization.
