Length of Work Year 260 days Employment Type Full Time Job Summary Job Summary The Event Safety and Preparedness Coordinator reports to the Director of Event Safety and Preparedness and is led by the Assistant Director of Event Safety and Preparedness. The Coordinator provides advanced operational and administrative support for schoolwide event safety and emergency preparedness by assisting with event operations, safety procedures, operational readiness, resource deployment, departmental communications, and other assigned functions. Working closely with department leadership, the Coordinator helps carry out established safety plans and procedures and provides hands-on support before, during, and after school-sponsored events to promote safe, organized, and welcoming environments for students, families, staff, and community members. The Coordinator may also provide in-person operational and administrative support at the GMCS administrative office as assigned.
