Job Description
Are you passionate about creating safer workplaces in cutting-edge engineering and manufacturing environments? We're looking for two Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialists to help drive a strong safety culture across R&D, engineering, laboratory, and advanced manufacturing operations. What You'll Do Lead the day-to-day execution of Environmental, Health & Safety programs Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and workplace risk assessments Perform facility audits and track corrective actions through completion Manage hazardous materials, chemical inventories, SDS documentation, and hazardous waste compliance Support industrial hygiene assessments and incident investigations Deliver EHS training to employees across multiple departments Respond to onsite emergencies and help ensure regulatory compliance Partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D, and Flight Test teams to build a proactive safety culture What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, hardware R&D, or similar environments Strong knowledge of Cal-OSHA, OSHA, EPA, and environmental compliance requirements Experience with incident investigations, corrective actions, audits, and regulatory documentation DOT/California hazardous waste experience, or the ability to obtain certification Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable working hands-on in manufacturing and laboratory environments Location This is an onsite position based in Mountain View, CA, with occasional travel to nearby facilities in Fremont and other local sites as required.
