In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing plastic crates used in food processing and storage, ensuring they meet strict hygiene standards. Your efforts will help maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment, supporting food safety protocols and overall operational excellence. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a vital part of our supply chain while working in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. Duties Clean and sanitize plastic crates using appropriate chemical agents and industrial cleaning equipment to eliminate contaminants Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, masks, and eye protection Inspect crates for damages or residues, ensuring they meet sanitation standards before reuse or distribution Operate cleaning machinery and tools efficiently, adhering to safety protocols at all times Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and sanitation logs in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and food safety standards Assist with heavy lifting tasks when moving crates to ensure proper handling and prevent injuries Follow strict safety guidelines related to respiratory protection and chemical handling during all cleaning processes Skills Proven experience in industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial roles within food processing environments Knowledge of chemical agents used for sanitation and proper handling techniques Ability to perform basic math calculations for measuring chemicals and maintaining inventory records Strong understanding of GMP, food safety regulations, and sanitation procedures Excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and compliance with hygiene standards Ability to follow detailed safety protocols related to chemical handling, PPE use, and respiratory protection Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive cleaning tasks effectively Join our team to play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our plastic crates!
