The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in safety practices within the abatement, construction, or environmental services industries. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular job site safety inspections to ensure compliance with company and Cal/OSHA regulations. Review and verify daily and weekly safety checklists , including Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) forms. Lead and document weekly safety meetings with field crews, ensuring all attendance sheets are properly signed and filed. Identify, report, and follow up on safety issues or incidents , ensuring corrective actions are implemented. Support Superintendents in enforcing proper PPE use, containment setup, and decontamination procedures . Provide coaching and feedback to field employees to maintain a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with Operations and HR to update safety training and ensure compliance records are up to date. Participate in incident investigations and assist in preparing reports and recommendations. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in related industry preferably in abatement, construction, or environmental services . Strong understanding of Cal/OSHA , EPA , and safety standards for asbestos, lead, and mold work. Ability to conduct field inspections and communicate effectively with operations staff. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Certifications such as OSHA 30 , First Aid/CPR , or Supervisor/Competent Person for Asbestos are a plus.
