Start your new career as an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist with MAU at General Electric in Longmont, CO. As an EHS Specialist, you will support workplace safety initiatives, ensure compliance with environmental health and safety regulations, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or equivalent EHS experience 3-5 years of EHS experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, compliance standards, and hazard mitigation practices Experience developing and maintaining EHS programs, documentation, and training initiatives Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to learn and navigate EHS software platforms and business systems Ability to work in office and industrial manufacturing environments What You'll Do as anEHS Specialist:
Provide daily EHS support for Supply Chain Manufacturing operations Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, reporting obligations, and site policies Serve as a subject matter expert for selected EHS programs and maintain related documentation Develop and revise Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) to identify risks and recommend corrective actions Partner with leadership and employees to promote safe work practices and safety awareness Ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety devices are available and properly utilized Lead EHS training programs, including coordination, content development, and training system administration Conduct injury and illness investigations and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) Lead inspections and housekeeping initiatives and track findings through resolution Support EHS improvement projects involving machine guarding, fall protection, lifting safety, noise control, confined spaces, and ventilation systems Assist with Emergency Response Plan requirements and GE Vernova EHS Plan completion Support closure of ATS findings, employee concerns, and compliance calendar activities Maintain compliance tracking programs and EHS recordkeeping systems Perform additional duties as assignedSimilar jobs in Longmont, CO
