Onsite Role Overview BEPC is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer to support our client's LNG manufacturing operations in Palmetto, FL. This is a hands-on field position focused on maintaining a strong culture of health, safety, and environmental responsibility within an industrial manufacturing environment. Approximately 80% of the position will be spent on the manufacturing shop floor , providing direct HSE support to production and warehouse teams. The HSE Engineer will conduct inspections, audits, risk assessments, employee training, incident investigations, and safety coaching while helping ensure compliance with applicable HSE regulations and requirements. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on HSE field support across production areas and warehouse operations. Conduct routine shop floor rounds, safety inspections, and audits while maintaining consistent interaction with production teams. Apply Stop Work Authority when necessary and train employees on its appropriate use. Support compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations, permits, and certifications. Deliver HSE training and safety coaching to new hires and existing employees. Participate in shift-start and production meetings to address HSE priorities and concerns. Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify and mitigate workplace hazards. Review, update, and deploy Safe Work Procedures and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs). Track HSE-related actions and compliance activities through the applicable HSE Management System. Conduct and support workplace incident investigations, reporting, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities. Collaborate with production teams, internal departments, management, and other stakeholders on HSE initiatives. Build positive working relationships with production employees to strengthen the site's overall safety culture. Promote environmental responsibility and safe work practices throughout manufacturing operations. Qualifications 5+ years of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) experience, with an emphasis on industrial safety. In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices with the ability to apply them in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Hands-on experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs). Experience applying OSHA requirements within an industrial, manufacturing, or similar field environment. Experience conducting or supporting incident investigations, root cause analysis, reporting, and corrective actions. Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with production teams and promote a strong safety culture. Ability to provide HSE training, coaching, and guidance to employees at multiple organizational levels. Ability and willingness to spend approximately 80% of working time on the manufacturing floor. Ability to work the night shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends when previously coordinated. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred; a high school diploma may also be considered. OSHA 30-hour training, completed or in progress, is preferred. Previous field HSE experience in manufacturing, mechanical, welding, or construction environments is preferred. About
